Unión Del Barrio an independent political organization operating with a volunteer membership base and entirely self-financed through membership dues, community contributions, and local fundraising. UDB have dedicated themselves to struggle on behalf of “la raza” living within the current borders of the United States.

La Tenants Union a diverse, tenant-led movement fighting for the human right to housing for all. Demanding safe, affordable housing and universal rent control. Organizing against landlord harassment, mass evictions, and displacement. LATU’s mission is to strengthen tenants’ political power through education, advocacy, and direct action.


Immigrants Defenders Law Center a small group of  immigration lawyers and advocates who believed there was a better way to protect the due process rights of immigrants facing deportation. At its founding, ImmDef was solely focused on ensuring that every immigrant before the immigration court had a lawyer by their side. However, in the years that followed, we recognized the need to not only help individual facing deportation, but also work towards systemic change that reimagines a more just immigration system.  

National Day Laborer Organizing Network improves the lives of day laborers, migrants and low-wage workers. NDLON builds leadership and power among those facing injustice so they can challenge inequality and expand labor, civil and political rights for all.


Inclusive Action for the City serves underinvested communities and build thriving local economies by improving access to transformative capital, and advancing policy through collaborative research and community-driven advocacy. Inclusive Action serves as a nonprofit organization and a community development financial institution (CDFI) based in Boyle Heights and serving communities throughout LA County.

Comunidades Indigenas en Liderazgo (CIELO) founded by two Zapotec women, Odilia Romero and Janet Martinez,
is an Indigenous women-led, intergenerational organization that is combating racism towards Indigenous people by bringing visibility and resources to the Indigenous migrant communities. CIELO creates substantive solutions to the social, economic, and cultural challenges faced by the Indigenous community. CIELO works on language revitalization by creating new spaces of engagement with Indigenous languages for younger generations.

Padlet Collects data on ICE sightings submitted by the public with the intention to inform the public and raise awareness. *The reports are not confirmed sightings; however, they are reviewed by a team of moderators.

Mutual Aid Network aconnector and information hub for mutual aid efforts, people and resources across Los Angeles. Mutual Aid Network is building toward abolition and believe in an abundant world that can be freed of oppression through community solidarity.

for tenants who are ready to fight back.

Know your Rights in Indigenous Languages Provided from CIELO, multiple videos explain how to advocate for ones rights through different Indigenous languages. (Achi,Garifuna, Ixil, Kaqchikel, K’iche, Mam, Maya Yucateco, Miskito, Mixe, Mixteco, Popti, Tsotsil, Q’eqchi, Q’anjob’al, Wixarica, Zapotec San Bartolome Zoogocho)


Produce in the Park a free, weekly food distribution that begins at NOON on THURSDAYS at St. James Park (near USC). The produce (sourced from Food Forward) is distributed to community members at the park, as well as being bagged and organized into boxes to be delivered to several LA Community Fridges and pantries.
